Back to posting photos again

Recently I have been growing custom Zinnias in the smaller AG3 machines .
The seeds are the Swizzle and Cherry from Park's Seed Company and I find them
successful for hydroponic growing. They don't get very tall and are sturdy plants.

Above are a few photos in the AG Mini machine.

BUDS DAY 40

There has been considerable growth in the last 4 days.

I see the beginnings of buds and I should have blooms beginning on the weekend.

I love this kit!

Day 36

The Petunias are doing very well.
I am using Ultra Grow Liquid Nutrients rather than the solid nutrients which came with the Kit, and I notice a much better response from the plants this time around.
The second picture is a pod of Zinnias from Park Seed which I thought I would try in the same machine....we'll see.....They came up overnight...literally, and seem to be thriving and sturdily growing.

DAY 25

We are growing steadily. On the next feeding I switch to the next stage of nutrients. However, I am not going to use AG solid nutes, but the Ultra Grow Liquid Nutes.

6 Days Growth

PROGRESS!
Here are 2 pods which are representative of the others after 6 days of growing!
Lookin' Good!

I gave one of my pods to a relative who is an AeroGrower also, and I replaced it with a zinnia seed. I am anxious to see if it will sprout.

INDOOR FLOWERS ALL YEAR ROUND

To give an idea of the success of the AG Flower Series, here are a few photos of flowers from past kits I have grown in the AG3 and Classic machines.

Planting

I have enjoyed the Aerogarden Kits tremendously..especially the flower series.

The Petunias grow very well and so I have decided to try my hand at the CASCADING PETUNIAS Kit for the AeroGarden Classic.

Here are my 7 pods planted on July 18, 2009. The seeds should sprout in about 6 days.
